Streetcars have been a staple in New Orleans since 1835. Today they create a whimsical sense of nostaglia while also being an amazing way to get around the city. The New Orleans St Charles Streetcar is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and one of only two street rail systems to be a National Historic Landmark. The other being the San Francisco cable car system.
The frame is handmade by Crystal with wood reclaimed from houses here in New Orleans.
